Jerimiah had a birthday celebration at out home Sunday.  It was a great day.  He is my oldest Grandchild and the best kid ever.  He is amazing!  Here are some pictures.

My rose bushes died this winter.  They were 16 years old.  We needed to dig them out.  We got a bid from a landscaping company and they said it would cost $800.00.  I googled to see if a women could dig a rose bush out.  It said a strong women could.  So I though I could.  I did pretty good and got the first two out just fine.  The third fought back.  I was digging and trying to pull it up with a shovel, and it  flipped out and I feel flat on my face on the cement.  I scratched my glasses, got a black eye, got a hurt area around my rib, and hurt my knee.  It was delightful.  Here is a picture of my last rose for a while and my hurt knee.  I didn't take a picture of mu black eye. It was the first one I ever had.  Then my daughter in law(Rebecca) called me up and told me  she

felt unpowered and would bring the truck over and we would pull them out.  What I learned from this that it is tuff for a strong women to dig out roses, but is possible for a strong women with a truck and tow rope to pull them out.  Do you think I should call google.

I spent the week tending my daughter's family dog.  His name is Yankee.  I loved my constant companion for about 10 days.  It was great.  I had someone to talk to every day.  I loved waking up to a dog at the  foot of my bed.  I loved someone to watch TV with.  I loved taking him on walks to Cascade School and Harmons twice.  I loved warming my feet on him.  I hated that we had to shovel dog do do.  I hated that he chewed up every ball in our backyard,  I hope I will get to tend him again.

Random pictures of Mother's Day.  I am a mother and I am thankful everyday that I am a mother.  I love my kids, their spouses, and my grandkids.  I love our mothers. Mine is Janet, and Dennis is Afton. They are wonderful mothers.  I will post a picture of them at Sunday dinner a few weeks ago.  I have amazing friends that are examples, I had grandmothers that I adored, my daughter and and daughters are amazing mothers.  I know that none of us are perfect mothers, but one thing I know, we love our children more than life itself, we try are hardest to be good mothers, and we appreciate everyday,

A few days ago I attended Women's Conference.  It was great.  It is a great blessing in my life.  I have been really busy and it was like a present to me to take a few days and feed my spirit  There is just class after class full of women.  The classes are  on  any topic you might need, all based the teachings of Jesus Christ.  I was so busy helping to care for both of our mothers in April I was completely out of balance.  It is not that I don't want to take care of the mother's, because that is exactly what I want to do, but I didn't get the spiritual stuff in there, and I really missed feeding my spirit, so what do I do, I go to Women's Conference and give my spirit a feast.  It was great.  I was with my friend Vickie (whom I love and consider my kindred spirit)  Here are pictures of Women's Conference
