It was a crazy and difficult week.  Mom has had a sore on her leg.  We had a biopsy and it turned out to be a squamus (sp) cell cancer.  It was one that can spread so we had to remove it.  Mom had to have a surgery.  I thought it would be just an east cut out with a little shot of something to ease the pain.  I was really wrong.  They sent me to a plastic surgeon, then to the hospital for surfer.  She had to be sedated.  That really scared me because she is almost 92 and I was worried that she might not survive it.  They told me the surgery would be an hour.  It was about 4 hours.  After all the worry Mom has done really well.  Relief!!! Here is a picture.

Last week it was Summerfest in Orem.  We went to the parade.  It was the first time I had gone to a parade in years.  (except for Disneyland)  It was a great  day (thanks to Trixy and Jeremy saving us a spot)  We got lots of  candy and coupons and I even got a t shirt delivered to my lap by a really nice parade person  It was fun but it might be a few years before I go again.  There was a civil war cannon leading the parade and some gun power exploded.  Three children got burned.  It made me really sad that children could ever be hurt.

We came home from Dl and celebrated Jason's birthday and Fathers day.  I love the fathers in our family.  Mine who I adored, Dennis, my Sons and  Son in law.  They are all different but they are the fathers of the best, most beautiful, smart, and delightful people in the world.  (At least to me)

We went to Disneyland with Jessica's family.  It was pretty crowded. They were having Grad Nights. It was full of kids graduating from high school.  You would think that would be horrible, but all the kids just had fun and were well behaved.  Watching them gave me faith in the future.  It was fun to be with Jesse's family.  I kept thinking the whole time that I was so glad Jessica was there after our
 Tuckered out
scare a few months ago-how happy I was to be there with her and her family-and how cute the kids were.  Here is a picture or two.
Wow June flew.  We celebrated Trixy and Kiya's birthdays.  Here is a picture.  Our cute Kiya is 13, a real teenager!  Trixie is just a cute age (one of the best ages ever!)

I added our cute Tycee because she is so cute and has a cute messy face.

Last weekend was busy and fun.  Saturday morning it was the United Angels Fund raiser.  United Angels is an amazing organization.  I love what they do to help educate the families that have special needs children.  They offer education and friendship to families of special needs children.  One project they have been working on is getting iPads into the special needs classes. Love this organization.  They came to visit Jessica in the hospital when Leighton was born offering experience and love during a really scary time.  So thankful for them.  Here are pictures from Saturday. We celebrated Trixy and Tycees birthdays on Sunday.  Love this two!
